The railway club was started in September 1993, we are a friendly group of different ages of both men and women. On average we have 12 people who come regularly , sometimes more.

We normally meet on the 3rd Wednesday of most months in the church room between 7.30 and finish around 9.00p.m. including refreshments organised on a rota system.

We watch video’s, have quizzes, railway anagrams, word searches, and members evenings, where the whole group join in by giving a talk on railways or bring in artefacts, souvenirs or even a postcard.

The people who attend do not necessarily church goers or Carey people.

We also go out and about to preservation society’s in various parts of the country, some of our members are also interested in model railways so whatever your interest in railways come and see what it all about.
